How Proposals Are Evaluated
Each proposal is scored by a panel of assigned evaluators using a 100-point rubric. Reviews are confidential, and reviewers with conflicts of interest are excluded.

Reporting Requirements
If a proposal is accepted and officially approved, annual reports/results must be submitted each year no later than March 1 of the following fiscal year in the NIFA Reporting System (NRS).

About CAFNR Research
The College of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources has funding available to support faculty members pursuing opportunities that help the university fulfill its land-grant mission. Assists diverse audiences — particularly those with limited social and economic resources — through practical, research-based learning and training that responds to changing community needs.
